The Discipleship Team equips the GCF youth for discipleship and leadership development through the study and application of God's Word with the aim of reaching Christ-likeness and spiritual maturity. We spearhead the study of God's Word as we carry out the Discipleship and Leadership program of the youth ministry. The team is composed of disciplers, mentors and Y-group leaders who as "ate" and "kuya" guide the youth to know what the Bible teaches about discipleship, character development and leadership. The goal is that every youth who joins the ministry will be plugged into a discipleship venue where he or she can learn what it means to be a Christian through the study and application of God's Word.

The Discipleship Program is comprised of the following:

Y-groups (Youth Growth Groups) - age-appropriate interaction and study of God's Word
Discipleship Class - open for all who wants to learn the basics of Christianity

4Jesus Discipleship and Leadership Program - intentional equipping of potential youth leaders who will disciple others someday. It consists of 4 levels:

        Like Jesus 1 - Basics of Christianity 1
        Like Jesus 2 - Basics of Christianity 2
        Like Jesus 3 - Character Development
        Like Jesus 4 - Servant Leadership

Youth Equipping Classes (Theology, Old Testament and New Testament studies, How to Disciple Training, Evangelism Training, Leadership Training) - classes that aim to enhance the Biblical wisdom and use of the spiritual gifts of our youth leaders
